Individual $50
Receives all of the basic membership benefits. For one adult over the age of 18. 100% is tax-deductible.
College Student $35
Designed for full-time students at an accredited college, university, or art school. Receives all of the basic membership benefits. For one adult. 100% is tax-deductible. Copy of current I.D. or dated bursar's receipt must accompany payment.
Dual/Family $70
Receives all of the basic membership benefits plus the opportunity to host a Birthday Art Party and rent Leir Hall for private functions. For two adults and all children living in the household up to the age of 18. 100% is tax-deductible.
Friend $165
Receives all of the basic membership benefits PLUS the additional benefits listed below. For two adults and all children living in the household up to the age of 18. $155 is tax-deductible.
- Two free guest admissions per visit
- Opportunity to participate in “Friends” annual event
- Gift certificate ($10) for the Museum Store
Patron $325
Receives all of the basic and Friend membership benefits PLUS the following additional benefits listed below. For two adults and all children living in the household up to the age of 18. $290 is tax-deductible.
- Reciprocal membership privileges in over 200 museums throughout North America
- Eight admission passes for unaccompanied guests
- Free exhibition catalogue or other publication
Sponsor $750
Receives all of the basic, Friend, and Patron membership benefits PLUS the additional benefits listed below. For two adults and all children living in the household up to the age of 18. $685 is tax-deductible.
- Free one-year subscription to an art publication
- Invitation to the annual private Director's Cocktail reception
- Four additional complimentary admission passes (for a total of 12)
- Opportunity to participate in the Collectors' Forum, an American art special interest group
Benefactor $1,500
Receives all of the basic, Friend, Patron, and Sponsor membership benefits PLUS the additional benefits listed below. For two adults and all children living in the household up to the age of 18. $1,410 is tax-deductible.
- Unlimited complimentary admission passes
- Behind-the-scenes tour conducted by MAM curators (upon request)
Director's Circle $3,000
Receives all of the basic, Friend, Patron, Sponsor, and Benefactor membership benefits PLUS the following additional benefits. For two adults and all children living in the household up to the age of 18. $2,830 is tax-deductible.
- Complimentary admission for two to all Museum programs and day trips, excluding fundraisers
Inness Circle $5,500
Receives all of the basic, Friend, Patron, Sponsor, Benefacto,r and Director’s Circle membership benefits PLUS the following additional benefits. For two adults and all children living in the household up to the age of 18. $5,050 is tax-deductible.
- Complimentary tickets for two to the Annual Gala
Special Interest Groups on temporary hiatus
Given all of the events and special activities taking place here at MAM this fall, we have decided to put both the Collector’s Forum and the Rand Forum on a very temporary hiatus.
We haven’t given up on these programs! We simply don’t want to compete with ourselves as we continue through this busy and exciting season. Over the next month or so we will be collecting feedback and input from Collectors and Rand Forum Members so that we may re-institute these programs in spring, 2010.
Reciprocal Membership Privileges
Members of the Montclair Art Museum at the Patron level or above receive FREE admission to all North American Reciprocal Program (NARM) member museums. Just present your MAM membership card at any of the listed museums and you will be entitled to the following privileges while visiting:
• Free admission at all times during museum hours.
• The same discount on purchases made on the premises in the gift stores as those offered to members of that museum.
• The same discount on purchases made on the premises of concert and lecture tickets as those offered to members of that museum.
Please note: Reciprocal privileges do not include receiving mailings from any of the participating museums.
Rand Forum
The Rand Forum is a special interest group for Museum members who want to learn more about Native American art. Members of the Rand Forum meet several times each year, October through May, to participate in exclusive events. Benefits of Rand Forum membership include a free subscription to Native Peoples magazine, invitations for informal trips to other Museum exhibitions and the ability to participate in the selection of a Montclair Art Museum acquisition. Collector's Forum
Membership in the Collector's Forum is annual. In order to participate in the Collectors' Forum, you must be a Museum member at the Sponsor level or above and contribute to the Art Acquisition Fund. The suggested donation is $200/per person.
